Conventional & GMO Farming Technology Has Failed Africans To Produce Food
Our leaders has failed us in decision making and good policy directions. Because a good responsible leader is not to take good decision but a better decision for all to benefit in. To this, my issue is not the problems but the altitude of our leaders toward addressing the problems. Small-scale farmers before independence are still small-scale farmers until now and we are still import food in huge quantity into Africa especially Ghana. An FAO reports quoted as saying ‘Tropical region should rather practice Agroecological Organic Farming practice for better yields, harvest and sustenance of the environment’. Now, the Nairobi conference for the first time in 70 years the world scientists and researchers spoke with one voice that Fertilizers and Agrochemical farming is not the solution to world food production.
