FARMERS NOT FOLLOWING ADVICE OF EXTENSION SERVICES

I have to check on the progress and as usual no-one is following up with the advice given except the only farm with a farm manager. Even the farm I used to envy cos of progress made on the farm n this time that glory is lost on the farm. Now all those at the shores of lake Volta can begin to grow okra from where the water has started to rescind or withdraw from. This year the rain pattern has been poor n most farms looks dry n some tree crops are under stressing. It's good that some of you have gotten your irrigation system to improve operations and those who haven't gotten any watering system should do so immediately.

As earlier adviced, let compost manure tea n herbal preparation start now for next year. Secondly all those with tree seedlings on the farms should hand water the trees or possibly irrigate them once every three days n mulch all with hay from farms in addition
